"Our vision is to be a premier institution in the state of Louisiana and one of the best in the nation for carrying out its mission at the highest levels of quality. We are proudly an HBCU, but we do not circumscribe our aspirations and we will not allow others to do so. We are guided by our own high expectations and are uninfluenced by the low expectations others may have of us."

- Dr. Horace A. Judson, GSU President

About the Grambling Black & Gold Foundation

Advancing GSU for Excellence!

The Grambling Black & Gold Foundation (GBGF) was established on April 28, 2005 as a privately governed non-profit corporation whose mission is to support Grambling State University. The Foundation is a strong, collaborative partner that applies private business strategy and principles toward fund-raising and funds management to benefit the public educational needs of our state’s preeminent university. It is strong and secure and continually evaluating the purpose and future course. The past year has been a good example.

The Foundation is designated 501(c) (3) organization with appropriate approval from the Internal Revenue Service to issue tax-deductible receipts for private gifts received to support Grambling State University. We invite you to learn more about the Grambling Black & Gold Foundation, its leaders and the individuals who help support the STATE'S University. As always, please feel free to contact the GBGF for additional information or visit us the next time you're in Grambling!
