Mr. Ira Wayne McConnell (B.S. ‘72)
Mr. Ira Wayne McConnell is Managing Partner of McConnell Jones Lanier
& Murphy LLP, the largest African-American-owned accounting and consulting
firm in Texas and one of the 25 largest in Houston. Mr. McConnell is a
1972 graduate of Grambling State University where he earned a B.S. degree
in Business Administration-Accounting. He received a Master’s degree
in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University.
